Email Set-Up for iPhone (iOS Mail)
Use the settings below to add your Smart Link Solutions email to the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad:

Note: If SSL/TLS is not available, IMAP may use port 143 with STARTTLS. SMTP should remain 587 with STARTTLS.
Step-by-Step Setup (iOS Mail)
- Open Settings on your iPhone, then tap Mail.
- Tap Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account.
- Enter your Name, Email, Password, and a description (e.g., “Work Email”), then tap Next.
- Select IMAP at the top.
- Under Incoming Mail Server:

- Host Name: mail.smartlinkhost.com
- User Name: your full email address
- Password: your email password

- Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):

- Host Name: mail.smartlinkhost.com
- User Name: your full email address
- Password: your email password

- Tap Next. iOS will verify the settings.
- On the final screen, ensure Mail is enabled and tap Save.
Verify Advanced Settings (if needed)
- Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → tap your account → Account.
- Tap Advanced:
- Incoming Settings: Use SSL, Server Port 993.
- IMAP Path Prefix: (leave blank unless instructed).
- Return, tap SMTP → your server:
- Use SSL: On (or allow STARTTLS if shown)
- Server Port: 587
- Authentication: Password
- Tap Done to save.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If you can receive but not send, confirm SMTP is mail.smartlinkhost.com on port 587 with SSL/STARTTLS and authentication enabled.
- Re-enter your password on both Incoming and Outgoing sections to avoid typos.
- If SSL fails on IMAP, try port 143 with STARTTLS.
- Make sure “Require Authentication” (Outgoing) is enabled and uses your full email address.
